It’s back-to-school season and the older-generation residents at The Allure Group’s Harlem Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation are generously giving kids the tools they need to get a worry-free education. Founded by healthcare entrepreneur Joel Landau, The Allure Group is comprised of one-stop centers throughout New York City that support the growing needs of the city’s aging populations.
This September, five of the Harlem Center’s senior residents, ranging from ages 73 to 95 years old, surprised neighborhood students by donating school supplies and backpacks. The youngsters, who attend P.S. 197 John B. Russwurm School, received essential supplies including pencils, notebooks and more.
